Calgary Police Investigate Liquor Store Robbery
Calgary, AB: The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a man suspected of committing an armed robbery of a liquor store in June.
At approximately 6:40 p.m., on Thursday, June 23, 2016, a man entered the T&T Liquor store located at 4608 17 Ave. S.E. The man approached the counter, produced a large knife and demanded money. The clerk complied and the man fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The man is described as between 35 and 45 years old, approximately 5’8” tall, 260 pounds, with a heavy build, black goatee and beard, black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing an orange University of Tennessee hoodie and blue jeans.
