Costco staff confront armed robbers in Hamilton, Ontario

On Tuesday June 14, 2016, shortly before 8:00pm, Hamilton Police officers were called to Costco at 100 Legend Court in Hamilton, Ont., for a robbery. Detectives released a video of the suspects involved in the Costco robbery. Two male suspects entered the store where they threatened employees and stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise. One of the suspects indicated he had a gun.

The suspects then fled the area and were last seen running eastbound away from the store.

Suspect 1 is described as:

Male, black, dark sweater, and dark pants.

Suspect 2 is described as:

Male, black, light coloured sweater, dark pants, and dark shoes.

No one was injured during this incident.

This incident occurred while Costco was open to members of the public. Detectives are still gathering details in relation to this investigation and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed or has information about this crime.
